AR-15 Mods

With this post I wanted to talk about my AR-15. It is a Windham Weaponry MPC chambered for 5.56/.223. Here it is in the factory configuration.

It came with the one steel factory 30 round magazine that is lying under the barrel. I purchased the Magpul P-Mag seperately. This is my first AR rifle, and I really like it a lot. For those of you who don't know, Windham Weaponry was started by the original founder (and several employees) of Bushmaster. When Bushmaster was sold, a non-compete agreement was signed. As soon as this expired, Windham Weaponry was born and started producing quality weapons on par with the original Bushmaster rifles.

Here is my rifle after the mods I made. I added Mapul FDE furniture, Monstrum Tactical quad rail and fore grip, YHM gas block with flip up front sight, Magpul flip up rear sight. Here it is pictured with the Sightmark RDS mounted (QD mount).

I also have a Monstrum Tactical 3-9 X 32 scope (with Warne QD rings). Also, not shown is a UTG QD bipod. Here it is with the scope mounted.
